My History with Blue Mountain RAM
Early in my engineering career, I was given the opportunity to spearhead my first CSV project — a multi-site dataset migration from Blue Mountain Calibration Manager to the Blue Mountain RAM R3 platform. It was during this project that I discovered my affinity for CMMS workflow configuration.
That first experience wasn’t just successful — it was fun. I found myself immersed in the challenge of building workflows that truly met user needs while significantly shaping new levels of operational efficiency for the organization.
The momentum from that project directly inspired me to launch Mission BPS, beginning with a contract to lead a fully customized Blue Mountain RAM R3 SR3 implementation. This project entailed a scratch build of over 20 custom workflows, associated UI layouts, and the development of 10+ SQL reports for work record and KPI output.
Upon the successful completion of this project, I had established myself as an expert in the configuration and validation of this platform, building the foundation for the many CMMS migrations/deployments I’ve led since.
Driving Efficiency for Every Client
As an independent contract resource, my niche lies in the efficiencies I deliver throughout configuration, testing, and deployment.
By working simultaneously in the role of vendor (leveraging my deep configuration expertise) and client staff (operating within the client’s QMS to independently author and execute deliverables), I am able to:
Eliminate turnaround time between workflow/UI change requests and implementation across Dev, Test, and Prod environments.
Iteratively refine configurations based on stakeholder feedback while simultaneously authoring and adjusting test scripts, lifecycle documentation, and SOPs.
Deliver high-quality results quickly, without the delays typically caused by vendor dependency.
